It's a GIRL !!

Yesterday I had an ultra-sound to determine the sex of baby #3. Early on I thought about not finding out with this one since I have one of each but decided that if I was going to be having a girl I needed to mentally prepare. It is my opinion that girls are sooo much harder than boys, maybe just emotionally draining who knows. Kalei has said all along that it's a baby sister. I'm glad we didn't have to burst her bubble with a boy. We are all very excited and definitely blessed. She is due to arrive on January 6th. She will have lots of girl cousins close to her in age.

Daddy Daughter lunch date

Kalei always has and always will be a daddy's girl. The past couple of weeks have been crazy between moving, getting our house ready to rent etc. that Justin has kinda been neglecting spending time with his daughter. She let's you know it too by throwing major tantrums when he is home and basically being a very difficult child that she knows how to do oh so well!! So today Justin was able to take a lunch break while I was at the dentist and have some quality time with just Daddy and Lei Lei. She loved every second of it !!! Even though it wasn't very long and it involved just going over to McDonald's (or Old McDonald as she calls it) to eat lunch. That little bit of time has made all the difference in my day... she has been SOOOO unnormally good today. You forget that the little things make a big difference to kids !!! So here is a picture that I took of them before they left for their lunch date.

Meet the Teacher

Today Kalei had an appointment to go and meet her new pre-school teacher Mrs. Merrill and Mrs. Jones. I don't know who is more excited for her to start school, me or Kalei. The official start date is tomorrow. While we were getting ready today she kept saying that we needed to hurry because the bus was going to come and pick her up for school. I had to burst her bubble and tell her that I was the school bus. She has a friend that takes a school bus to pre-school and has seen them come pick him up and take him home a couple of times and assumed that was the same for everyone.

Mother Hens....

I haven't taken any pictures of the kids recently so I copied these from Kanoe's blog. I thought they were too cute. This is Quincy holding Tilley(kanoe's) and Kalei holding Marley(julie's). The babies are about 8 weeks apart, Quincy and Lei's are 5 1/2 weeks apart. They love to hold the babies any chance they get.

Kalei is such a mother hen when it comes to the little babies. It's a different story when it comes to her brother. Let's hope she stays helpful when baby #3 comes in January. She is obsessed with holding baby Marley any chance she gets. She has to keep a hand sanitizer in her room so she knows where it is when Marley comes over she can wash her hands and hold her. Kalei loves to assist Jules when she pumps milk for the baby. The other day she was breast feeding and asked Jules if Marley was getting milk from her boobs, which she replied "yes". She then asked if she could have a drink of milk from them too, them being her boobs. Which is funny cuz Kalei refuses to drink any flavor of milk. Today, she was lifting her shirt up and pretending with her baby that it was baby Marley and she was feeding her.

Pool Table FOR SALE

I know it's been a while since I have posted anything but it's also been a little crazy. We have finally made another move closer into town, Gilbert to be exact. In our 7 1/2 years of marriage we have figured out that this would make it our 9th move and our 3rd house. What were we thinkin !! We'll see how long this one lasts. We are excited to be closer to family and the world for that matter. We all know with new homes come new projects and being that every room has already been painted colors that we aren't necessarily diggin, the projects start now. The first project of course would be getting rid of this pool table that was in the house before we moved in. I am posting this picture of the pool table that needs to be sold and moved ASAP. So if anyone is interested or knows anyone that is interested, please do me a favor and get it out of my hair so I can finish moving, and filling that area with other stuff... lol lol. The owners are asking $1500 for it and it also includes a ping pong table that lays on top of the pool table. Please note that the pool table is half way taken apart in this picture, but at least you can kinda get an idea of what it looks like.

Rooster Tail or No Rooster Tail ?

So I'm sitting here Sunday afternoon watching Talan play before we head to church and am pondering over buzzing his head... not too short but not as long as it is now, obviously. So any thoughts ?? I have been thinkin about it for a couple of months, especially cuz it's Summertime and haven't quite convinced myself to do it yet. Yah it is hair and will eventually grow back, but the flip is just soo cute. At the same time his face is so chubby, would he like goofy ?? I don't know what to do !! HELP :)

Marley Kaleolani Peay FINALLY arrives !!

Julie & Ben were able to bring Marley Kaleolani Peay into the world Friday Morning at 6:59 am. She weighed a woppin 8lbs 1oz, 20 1/2 inches long. She and mom went through a tough delivery with the doctor having to use a vacuum and forceps, but made it out healthy and well. Jules due date was August 1st, which came and left, she had been waiting to get that call to get induced when her water broke in the middle of the night. Even then Marley wasn't wanting to come into this world yet and put up a pretty good fight. She is a cute little girl, who looks exactly like her daddy!!! We are exited to finally have her as part of our family, and Kalei is exited to have a little girl cousin !!! :)
